Another guy I like is Roger Raglin. I'll bet he'd be a lot of fun to hunt with.

I think I am going to change my celebrity(s) to Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Diane Finstein. Only one of us would return though.

And I'd bet the bank, the ranch and my wife's wedding ring it wouldn't be you - each of them have killed men twice my size and yours. And didn't think twice and walked away laughing. Posted Image Prof. politicians are blood sucking vampires. Posted Image

Yes that could be but what they would not realize is I would also have Richard Cheney along with me.

Guess since I have also hunted with Dave Watson, I'd have to say Fred Bear if he was still around. Other than that I'd go with just about any of them. Long as I'm hunting, it wouldn't bother me one bit. Posted Image

I wouldn't mind sharing a campfire with Lee and Tiff, or Ralph and Vicki - they're a hoot. It might be fun to kick around with old waffle house or listen to Uncle Ted wail on the guitar and crack on libs.

However, if dead people were possible, I'd like to walk along with Jim Bridger or John Colton for a spell.

Sonny and Cher - oops my bad I mean Ralph and Vickie of Archer's Choice. They do some great dream hunts of mine but I could not stand the bickering those two put out.

Has anyone heard how he's doing? Last I heard he was in trouble. He was in the hospital laid up with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

I was wandering the same thing. I haven't heard anything at all since first hearing of his illness.

Thank you Bonecollector34 I was beginning to believe that I was the only one that has no desire to hunt with a celeb. I believe the very best parts of hunting is the time with mother nature and my best of friends.

I guess I see things a bit differant. I don't really look at them as celebs, just as someone really good at our sport of hunting and, in the case of some, people I think it would be both interesting and fun to hunt with. Take Jim Shockey for instance. I greatly admire the guy for all he's acomplished. Plus he just seems like an honest straight forward guy, with a great personality. I think a hunt with him would be both a ton of fun and a real learning exsperience. Does that mean I'd rather hunt with any of them over hunting with my son or a good friend? Heck no! But I never said you had to exclude family or friends if you had a so called "celeb" you admired and thought it would be fun to hunt with. Yes, I know these people represent our sport and thus take on the responsibility of doing so well, but we all too often forget they are just as human as us. Who among us hasn't bragged maybe a bit too much about a great buck, or some other animal we've harvested, or made a mistake that we aren't particularly proud of? The only differance between the "celebs" and us is that our mistakes are quite a bit more private and theirs are broadcast to the world and all too often their mistakes live only in the mind of some viewer who is jealous for one reason or another. Yes there are some I don't particularly care for, but that is life. That applies to people in general, not just them.
