I'm having lots of fun. My daughter, Rhiannon is home on leave from the Navy. She's been in 12 years so far. First time I've got to see her in two years. Her husbands out on ship for 6 months so couldn't come with her. I not only have two darling little grandaughters to spoil but I even got to drive Rhiannon's new Mustang GT. Yep it will sure scoot but for some reason I just can't talk her in to letting me drive it through mud. Go figure? lol We are also going to see a concert with a group called Brule at RFDTV here in Branson. They are Brule Lakota and a friend of mine, Moses Brings Plenty plays traditional drums with them. He want's me to come down to the stage at intermission so exspecting a really great time. We are going to College of the Ozarks for the 4th to watch fireworks. Can't wait to see the girls eyes light up. Posted Image The oldest, 6 yr old Orianna, has been practicing with my box calls and dearly want's me to take her turkey hunting. Hannah is only 4 but is really something. I was showing Orianna how to make a yelp with the box call and Hannah looked at me and out of the blue says, " Know how to make a turkey yelp grandpa?" I asked her how and she looks very serious and says, " You squeeze it and it goes Yelp!" I was rolling on the floor laughing so hard I about made myself sick. Here's a pic of my two red neck princesses after eating grape popcycles. Ya gotta love grandkids. Spoil them rotten then send them home. lol

I truly know the feeling. My daughter was home several weeks ago and had her two boys here for about 10 days. What a hoot. Sure was quiet after they left. The family is getting together this weekend so that makes 4 grandkids to spoil. At our camp over last weekend one of our members had two girls there and I was adopted as a grandpa by the youngest one. I told her she could call me pappy Paul but it came out Poppy Tall. That is all I heard till they left. I did get a big old hug from her when they left.

Posted Image ....gotta love the grandkids !

I get a kick out of mine and was treated to the older grandauther reading me "Henny Penny" last night. I kinda paniced over the sky is falling stuff but she reassured me that everything would be okay. For some reason the girls describe Ol' Poppy as a "Goofy"....but seem to love me anyhow.Posted Image

Norm, those are a couple of real cuties!! Gail and I just had our first baby grand-daughter little girl in Feb. Our 2 other little guys are a blast. The oldest turned 3 in Jan. and he always says to me when he sees me in my camo, "Can I go catch a deer with you PaPa?" Makes me melt everytime. Our 2 boys are here but our little girl is in Illinois. Makes it hard when they are so far away. Enjoy em and spoil em yep then send em home.Posted Image

I'm half Cherokee, half Scotch Irish. :) My wife is Irish too and has red hair. Their mom has hair the same color as the oldest girl, Orianna.
