For me it is hunting for the elusive wild black raspberry. I am up at dawn and off. My arms look like I was in a wildcat fight but those fresh berrys are soooo good. Infact I just finished a bowl full with milk (half % half) and some sugar. So far I have picked about 2 1/2 gallons so there are some for the freezer. I am not done yet either.

If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

As I said in my post, I'm enjoying time with my daughter and granddaughters. I've been going over all our guns making sure they are all clean and well oiled. Got stuff to shoot that new Plains Pistol so waiting till Jason can stop by to shoot it. It's really been too hot and humid here for me to be able to do much outside. It really gets to my lungs fast so I'm not pressing my luck. Jason and I are really looking forward to archery season. I'm going to try to raise the money for a new crossbow. My old Jennings Devastator still shoots good but it's just so darn heavy to carry. Glad you are enjoying those berries my friend. I can just picture you sitting there shoveling them in and grinning from ear to ear. Bet they taste all the sweeter because they were so hard earned.

So does this really mean you're getting ready for a Vikings Mini-Camp?
In all seriousness, I hope it goes well.
I just got done reloading about 20 rounds for my dad's 30-06 in 4 different powder weights and am heading to the range tomorrow along with taking my 243 to correct. It seemed to be shooting consistently to the left at the last four shots at ground hogs I've had at 200yds and out. Buddy and I are doing that while wives go shopping... then heading to their place in the evening for supper and heading to dad's for town fireworks and to report on my reload findings later that night... Saturday family picnic all day with the most competitive backyard badminton in North Central PA ... Sunday church both AM and PM then church picnic Sunday PM. I'm all ready tired.

For me I will be attending my wife's family reunion. So every one have a safe and happy fourth of July.
