Dad and I went and set stands today.

That's the ol'man there... My dad, not the stand. :P
(Please forgive the lack of picture quality. Crappy camera phone.)

We hope to film from that set.
Exactly four weeks until the opener in PA WMU 2B!
(Which is where these stands are. )
Six Weeks until state-wide opener.

I can feel it here also. 4 weeks to ML season here in KS. I have one more scouting trip planned on Labor Day weekend to determine my spot. Can't wait.

Good luck Jeremiah...

not sure. Heard of Stafford, never been there. I'm from Wichita, do most of my hunting in Western Kansas, south of Dodge City in Meade County.

Yea Stafford is south central. Used to know a guy from there but lost touch. I usually hunt the Topeka Area and east of there but did hunt north central KS once.

It's getting close.... I can feel it HEHEHEHE still got a bit to do beforehand, but..... I think I'll make it I'm gonna be hunting mostly with my climber this year so I can move spots a little easier... the only problem I've got left now is that one of the spots i'm planning to hunt is public land, and to get away from everyone else so you're not all bunched up you have to walk about 2 miles in, that and the fact that if you don't, you're gonna have the people that don't head out to hunt until after daylight walking through where you're trying to hunt just as it's getting to be shooting light. LOL and dragging a deer almost 2 miles is kinda tough... LOL

that's the only way to hunt i don't even start looking for a tree until i hit the mile mark and a deer cart makes it a little easier you can carry everything in on it i even got inventive and hooked the cart up to my mountain bike for about $25-30 talk about getting away from everyone the way i'd set mine up i could haul about 190-200lbs that should cover anything i'd kill around here
