For anyone reading this wondering, "What are you talking about?", click here.

If all goes according to plan, there will be some "Must See TV" coming to Outdoor Channel. ;)
But, I will be sure to have my digi-camera present to capture a few still moments as well.

I couldn't be more excited for Andrew. I was totally greedy and hogged telling him he had won all for myself.

At the risk of detracting from Andrew's win, which truly is not my intent, I must say that Kenny McCrea really did approach me about this out of the blue. From the start, he wanted something simple with no real fan fair at all. I was floored! I admired and understood his humble approach completely. However, I just wanted so badly for the McCrea's to get some sort of exposure for this. (It just felt right. There are times when you just know to keep your mouth shut and then there are times when you feel the need to go shout something from the rooftop. After speaking with Kenny and truly feeling the love of the Lord through him, this felt so much like the latter to me.) Unfortunately, the way things worked out with scheduling and a time constraint we really weren't able to put anything big together. But, that's when Dave Watson stepped in. I had simply asked him for any advice he may have concerning the situation, as a friend, when he decided to step up.

If anyone out there is reading this and has been considering a TX hunt, I sure hope you would remember the type of people we're dealing with in the McCrea's and consider giving them a call. And don't forget our old buddy Dave. The core group we have here wouldn't likely have ever come together without him. Things sometimes inevitably change and, at times, some things must even fade. But, we here are a budding branch from a common root.

One final word... It is truly awesome to see what Hunting Resource is becoming. There have been both growing pains and slow times and each can be faith-shaking for sure. But, in the end, I still know we have a unique experience here. Our membership is different. I was just speaking with one member this week about how the site is coming along and I couldn't help but comment on how when we started we had to go out and practically beg to get companies to show any interest in what we do here. Now, we have companies approaching us. I believe for further influx of members and continued prosperity. (You've just got to be a member. You never know what might happen. :D ) It does my heart good to see things like this hunt come together and I am excited for much more to come.

God really pulled things together in a great way for a group of His own and to Him be the glory.

Congratulations to a worthy winner.  Now git out there and have the hunt of a lifetime.  Guess that hunt could be a thank you for your service but I must again say thank you for your service.  This comes from an old retired warhorse, 22+ yrs USAF.
