I just bought one in .243. I topped it with a Tasco 2.5X10 Mildot with Millet rings and Weaver bases. I plan on using it for varmints, deer, and also for my 16yr old to hunt with. I can`t get to the range until next week though but I`ll keep you informed how I did.

Those are great shooting guns and the best thing is that they are very affordable..

I FOUND A GOOD DEAL ON A SAVAGE 111 IN 7MM LAST YR. WITH A SIMMONS
3-9X40 SCOPE I REPLACED THE SCOPE WITH A MUELLER 4-25X40 I HAVENT SHOT IT YET I'M STILL TRYING TO FIND THE TIME TO GO TO THE RANGE I LIKE THE WAY THAT YOU CAN CHANGE THE BARREL EASY :D
