I think it's cool. Let the elk stay and see what happens to them. The herd in Kentucky is growing very fast. The Elk Foundation said the Kentucky herd is out growing all other herds in the U.S.. My guess they would do about the same once established in Ohio. The out look after Kentucky's success is good with no predators other than from hunting and our very mild winters compared to the western herds.
