I got in the leftover draw and the tags available withing practical driving distance for a lazy man are in unit 38. I know that's a suburban county bit I seem to recall someone mentioning big deer there. Any info???

They are in there alrighty! It's close to your home away from home. Early morning and afternnon hunts maybe in order. There's alot of private ground in there, but there's alot of public also. Make sure you have a good forest map. What season Charles?

There were 4 leftover seasons in unit 38. Quite a few tags total. With 4 choices I put in for all four. I will know mid-July I guess which, if any, we drew. Maybe if I draw we can talk and I can get some pointers as too good areas to scout out.
