i have found a sale on remington genesis muzzleloader, its a blue barrel camo stock for $215.00 shipped. is this a good deal?, and are they good guns? all i've ever owned are cva's, and lately i've had trouble with the action being a little looser than i'd like. i noticed the remington doesn't break open but has a cam that opens, so thanks for any help you can give me.

I know Cayugad has one he likes. I just looked on Gun Broker and they had just one. It is new in the box, .50 caliber, black synthetic stock with blued barrel and it's started at $259.00. I'd say you are getting a pretty good deal. :) When interested in the value of a firearm Gunbroker.com is the place I check first. You may not always find out what a gun is worth, but you'll sure find out what people are willing to pay for it.

As I recall Remington does not actually make this rifle. My recollection is they are made in the same plant as the CVA. Same for Winchester muzzleloaders.
