(Virus infiltration) because my computer crashed... and when I say crashed I mean CRASHED!!! well, I have everything back up and running except my speakers... I have downloaded every driver that I can find for my particular model of computer and every driver that promises to make the speakers work and I've even looked for the drivers for my sound card..... but to no avail as far as updating all the drivers and the speakers work... I see the power light is on and they should be working, Any help anyone might offer will be greatly appreciated because this is ANNOYING!!!! The equipment is as follows:

Emachines W3107 Tower
Creative Labs Game Port model # SB0220
and the Speakers are Diamond Audio Technologies EMC2.0-USB
The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3

Check the Volume Control in Accessories. You may have the speakers muted or even turned off by a setting in that.
