My buddy has a set of bleached elk antlers on the skull.He wants to sell them,what do you think they are worth.......I'm saying around $400.00,whats your opinion..............46" wide-51" high...............

I looked around on-line and prices are all over the place. That being said, I think $400 might be a tad low. I'm thinking more between $500 to $600. Were they mine, I'd follow the old tactic of pricing at the higher amount and, if no takers, he can always come down. Also, if he finds someone really interested, but not willing to pay the higher price, he can let them talk him down some and they'll feel they are getting a deal. Basicly they are worth what ever a person is willing to pay and thus are worth more to someone who really wants them than to someone just mildly interested. Just my opinion. Posted Image

Depends alot on the condition of the horns, bleached will bring a lower price because they will need worked on to be mounted.

Just found out the asking price is $400.00.........................No cracks,just bleached.......Not a bad price,but my wife says NO,I have enough elk shedds in the shop..(LOL) Now tell me,is there ever to much hornPosted Image .....LOL

You could get a stain from a taxidermy supply site and increase the price greatly. Take a look at EBay and see what other auctions are going for. You can find some taxidermy suppliers on taxidermy.net
