I'm hoping for a repeat of the last time I was blessed enough to have a chance to get in the woods for a little spring gobbler action. This gobbler was from the 2006 spring season. This was a special gobbler for me, as it was the last time one of my good friends and I had the chance to hunt together before he was killed in action in Afghanistan. It was taken off the huckleberry road in Black Moshannon State Park.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. I too lost friends,in Vietnam, so I understand exactly how you feel. Like Phil said, I'm sure you'll carry his memory into the woods with you always and he'll always be in your heart. Best of luck this Spring.
