So what do you all think about the new firearms law? " Starting in February, properly permitted gun owners can carry in national parks, which they weren't allowed to do before. " They interviewed a Park Ranger on the local news and he said he's all for it. He said that as it is he has to patrol thousands of acres all by his lonesome. He said, with folks who have concealed carry permits, if you get into trouble one just might come to your aid much sooner than he could. No excuse to play cop but it does make sense. Jason and I know of one fellow, that we met, who was in a wheelchair hunting with a crossbow. Some yahoo took offense because the guy was using a crossbow and threatened to beat him up and take his bow. The guy in the wheelchair could sure have used a CCW Permit! The new law also applies to State Wildlife Areas too. I know that Jason and I will be carrying. Posted Image
