I just bought my wife Tammy her "Mothers Day" gift.Its a Savage model 110 in a 243.................Will give it to her Sunday,will have photos then...........
Also got her a gun case,sling and scope cover,plus ammo............

Fossil that's a heck of a lot more than flowers or a box of chocolates EH!

I like the Savage rifles with accu-trigger and a .243 makes a great size round for all sorts of hunting.

I suppose I had better start trying to figure out what to get my wife. Hmmm.....she shot the bow that I got her one year.....one time. She has yet to shoot the 20 gauge pump that I got her earlier this year. So, I am about to get a clue that guns and archery are not high on her list of "stuff". LOL

My wife uses my 220-Swift right now and loves it,so I think this 243 will fit the bill..............Posted Image

Wow now that is a real Mothers Day gift. I view the venerable 243 as a great caliber for anything up and including deer size game. Used one for over 15 years as my only rifle.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.
