Ya gotta just love Colorado and its wildlife.
I took a drive to the gun shop the other day.
I had to stop and take some photos on the way home.
Pronghorn & Elk

On the drive, I got a chance to see HUNDREDS of ELK, Countless Pronghorns, A couple of dozen Mule deer, 1 turkey and 1 coyote. ( all in a 40 min drive over to the shop)

Ya just gotta love a day like this.

Nice - Nice speed goat

what camera or telephoto lense or are you that close?

Does the meadow ever green up? I can see that the typical camo like Mossy Oak and realttree would do you no good in that photo.

yea it green's up :) when winter is over....
we had snow up here on May 11th :)

close :) I was with in bow range.

about 40 yards.

I have an Olmpus C 740 with a 10x optial zoom lens.
which equals about the same as a 280 telephoto zoom.

so yes I zoomed in a bit....but yes I was also close :)

The larger herds are sure nice to look at, but when they start getting out on the highway to feed on the new shoots growing there, they sure are a nuisance to me.Great pics.
