I haven't been able to hunt much due to health, but Jason went out yesterday morning by himself and scored this nice buck. He has all the points broken off the one main beam from fighting and had fresh scars on his neck, back and legs as well. The inside spread was nice though, 22 inches. He had a big body and field dressed weighed aprox 200lbs. Jason shot him at 15 yards. I'm as happy for him as if I'd shot the buck myself. We had venison stew for supper. :) Jason bought his mom a new meat grinder made by Eastmon Outdoors that is awesome. It really makes the job easy and beats her old electric grinder all to heck. Here's the pics.

If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

He was a brawler Jason. Hey Norm did Jason rattle him in or use the grunt tube on him? Come on your slipping a little. Whats the rest of the story? Hope your health allows you to get out a little this year Norm. Praying that way anyway.

Steve
