Hey RY... last time I went sask bear hunting..we saw moose :) the guide even freaked out the outfitter by telling him I shot a moose. DJ turned white and said at what range? Rich said..about 100 yards...
100 yards with a BOW ?!?!?!?!

NOOOO with his camera, he wouldnt shoot it with a bow, he didnt have a tag.

I bet DJ was a little upset cause he doesn't mention it on his web site but you know they have plenty of them close by camp.
I wonder if DJ has tags? :hmm:
McBruce the tag is another $330 for a SK moose and if they are in I'm in --- after I get my bruin in the freezer.

I know in the past he has access to tags but has not gone down that road, due to the guides being local indians and treaties state they own the moose. If he sold tags and asked them to guide he wouldnt have guides ( at least that is how it was 2 years ago )

At the Sportsmans show in Feb he as showing me maps and plans of lease and expansion and such and his plans did include Moose hunting :)

We'll see....how it goes. :)

Bummer Rowdy,

If you're interested in eastern Moose, honestly I'd be applying for a New Brunswick Tag ;)

Leo I'll look into those tags - thanks. Maine is in the States and some what easier access and getting the meat and horn home would be that much easier than crossing into Canada.

Yes Bonecollector, Newfoundland has plenty of moose. I was just considering since it's just accross the border from Maine it might be easier for Rowdy to get to. Since he's already looking into that area.
