First, I will say he is about half the size of the buck I saw earlier in the morning that offered me no shot.
(Not that I am trying to take anything away from this deer... Just sayin' it was a GOOD DAY!)
This guy came in hot on the trail of a doe and just stopped on a dime 20 yards away perfectly broadside. (He might have smelled the Ever Calm and Silvertop lure I had out... I honestly don't know.) He was on the other side of a nasty tangle. But, wouldn't you know it, there was a shooting lane RIGHT to his vitals. (God is good!)
This photo is cleaned up (Photoshop) because I uploaded it to Facebook. Almost the entire deer was literally bathed in blood and I didn't want to get banned from uploading pics there. (I'll show you why below this.)
Yes, another Rage broadhead kill. I'm tellin' ya, folks... I shoot 'em once and then just throw 'em away if they have any damage. I couldn't care less that they sometimes bend or fold over at the tip or even that they are fairly expensive. When the deer you shoot literally drop within sight drowning in buckets of their own blood... it's worth every, single penny!!!
GOOD NIGHT ALL!

I've only been able to go deer hunting once this year. It's been complicated to go this year. Nuff said.
