Just wanted to share a couple of pics of a great whitetail harvest. I'm very greatful to have harvested 3 deer this season .

I shot this 8 pt. nov. 27 at fort knox ky. He has a 17 " inside spread.

and the doe was taken wed. dec. 15th. again at fort knox with my cva smokepole. Not pictured i took another doe during the early ML season in oct. on the family farm.
The buck was taken to my local Taxidermist for a shoulder mount.

Congratulations to you Dennis. I got two does so far. I passed on 7 or 8 bucks of which 3 or 4 were legal but I let em walk. I still have a several week flintlock season after Christmas to go. Both Eric and I decided this year it would be a really nice buck or nothing. I did see something the last day of our buck season that I have not seen for a long time here in central PA I saw 15 deer in one herd and they passed by me at less than 20 yds and not even a bump on any head. I also saw 5 other deer earlier that day. Ought to be a whole bunch of deer for next year.

If you notice his ear is drooping , is because it was tore 3/4 way from fighting.

thanks guys our freezer runnith over now...I was wanting to hunt today its our last day of late ML season , but i have to go into work 1/2 day today sunday . So i'm thinking since i'm off the next 3 days i might head to our farm with the switchback and look for a shooter buck. I still have my state buck tag to fill.
