Around 10:00 this morning I went to the kitchen for a cup of coffee and as always looked out the window. To my surprise there were 4 turkeys in the cornfield all in full strut. I quick set up my spotting scope but by that time there were only 3 visible. two were beautiful longbeards and one was a jake. One longbeard was bothering the jake till it folded up like a balloon with a hole in it and it slinked into the fence row. Sure was a pretty sight while it lasted.

Hopefully before too long I can get back into the country... This city life is starting to put me on edge......... Too many sirens every hour of the day and night.... I want to find a place so far back in the sticks I have to pipe the daylight in..... This is my dream LOL

Terry I moved here many years ago and have enjoyed every day. Problem is now everyone else is moving here for the same reason and it is getting crowded.
