This morning when I came home from Manitoba, I found my wife dead on the floor in front of my chair. I instantly went nuclear. The police and the coroner were here for most of the day. They had a grief counselor here right away too. They wouldn't let me in the house. When I came in, she was cold and discolored. Chris, her sister, was talking to her last night at 8:00. I don't know what I am going to do now.We have been married for 28 years, and together for 29. She would do without for herself so that someone else less fortunate could have a few luxuries. There has never been a person short of Christ himself that was more giving and caring. If there is a God, she is definately with him.

Wow, Fred. I am so sorry. My prayer is for and with you through the storm of bereavement.
I have no clue what I could do for you, personally, with the physical distance between us.
But, if you need anything that I may be able to help with just let me know.

I'm at a loss as to what to say. I'm deeply saddened to hear about your loss. With the kind soul that you described I hope you can take comfort that she is with God now, and he is taking care of her. There are no words that can help ease your grief, but just know you have friends on this board and we are all here if you need to talk.

So sorrry for you loss. I can't imagine how hard this must be...

We have a teacher at our school who lost her sister last week to a long illness - her husband died Monday night - in the emergency room -1 hour & gone. They had been married a long time too.

Dear Fred: I just learned of your loss from Charlie Johnson. I am so sorry for your loss of such a loving person and dear companion to you all those years. May good friends and God comfort you in your time of sadness. Know your friends are here to comfort you. God Bless Fred. HH in Pa Richard Thomas
