hurting for the last 6 weeks and it doesn't seem to ease up after taking inflamatory meds, pain meds and more, so thursday i go in for orthoscopic surgery again had this done 5 yrs ago . With eventual
knee replacement in a few yrs which i dread .So ya just might see me on here a little more since i will be off from work for about a month.

I know a fellow that had that done, Dennis. He was pretty sore for a while, but after he healed up, he wished that he had it done sooner. After the replacement, you will be kicking the goats out of your path running around in the hills. Posted Image

I need to have mine replaced and though I hear good reports am not looking forward to it at all. I told them at work I am going to go as long as I can and when I can't walk any more will get it done. Dennis I will pray that all goes well for you and that you are up and at em soon. Good luck and God Bless.

My brother had 4 or 5 of those surgeries... I've lost count honestly. I know he's only got two knees.

Best advice is don't shrug off physical therapy no matter how much you hate it. (No one loves it)

Welcome back you old hillbilly. My sister had knee replacement surgery about a year ago. Although she still has some days with a little pain she says it is so much better than before the surgery.

Well,
its been 2-1/2 weeks since the surgery , the pain oh the pain.. the surgeon said he had to trim the menicus and scrape the
athuritis from the joints.. thank goodness for strong pain meds , or it would be real rough. Doing PT twice weekly which is slowing getting easier to aciheve the results needed. .

Take it easy Dennis. Go slow to enable you to go faster later. I must have sympathy pains as my left knee was hurting when I got up. Took a walk on the mountain and it feels either numb or better.

Dennis follow what the Dr's say and take it as easy as possible... No sense in re-injuring it by over doing it before it's completely healed.
