I used to make bush rags for turkey hunting, but the last one I had to throw out due to my cat peeing all over it. That was a few years ago. Now that I shoot a crossbow for deer, I'd like to make another one. When I make them, I used to use clothing dye from the grocery store. When I used it, it had an odor so I didnt use it for deer. I use the fish netting & rolled burlap from home depot. What would be better to use on my next one, clothing dye or camo spray paint?

As I recall, dye has a bit of an odor too. I have used camo spray paint. Believe it or not bows and guns used to come without camo and when I worked at an archery store I got pretty good at camoing bows. The most recent camo paint I have used I do not recall of an odor.

Thanks, I'll give the paint a try this time around.
