Wild Turkey Hen eats a worm in regular speed, slow motion and still pics.
Also a Tom Turkey videod at 200 yards struts and displays.

Thanks for the video. Maybe that explains why a flock of birds in my area seem to gravitate to several bare ground spots in a pasture locally. My son and I have watched them do this repeatedly and questioned why.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.
Remember the Ark was built by amateurs, the titanic by professionals.

That would make sense. I just never thought of it as a regular food source.

I would suspect that worms can and most likely are on the menu for wild turkeys. They eat most any sort of bug and do a lot of scratching in the litter for whatever. Chickens do the same thing and I have seen them eat worms. Like you I have not thought of it before.
