My son Eric and I went to our hunting camp yesterday to shoot our hunting rifles as we had not done so for a while.  They both are 7mm mags but not Rem 7mm mags.  Infact Erics rifle was made in 1958 and mine in 1961.  Both were made at least a year before Remington came out with their 7mm mag.  Yes they are custom rifles, Erics being built on a bolt action 375 H&H rifle and mine was a Win midel 70 30-06 rifle.  Both rifles are the most accurate hunting rifles I have ever shot.  After only one shot each we confirmed our rifles were still on and ready for big buck action.  PAs buck season opens next monday so we are ready.  How about everyone else are you ready.

Good luck! I'm prepped but not sure of where I wanna sit. I have a few ideas staring at Google earth. But to get in, it's going to be like Black Friday shopping.... Get there at 2 am to get back into the tucked away areas before the Orange army comes.

The orange hoard is one of the reasons I joined a hunting camp.  Not so much competition there.

Good luck to you, Paul. Get a big one. A bear might go good in the smoker too.

That would be good Fred but in our area bear and deer seasons do not overlap.
