Had my right shoulder worked on the Tuesday before turkey day. Still painful but getting better at handling it. Can't drive yet so wife has to get me to work where I am on restrictions to do nothing but manage which is very boring. Doc said about 4 months to recover. Just in time for turkey season. Anyone else have this done?

Hope you are better soon. Take care of yourself and listen to the doctor. God Bless.

Dislocated both shoulders in 2003. Proper physical therapy is crucial for rehab. Do too much too soon and you may end up worse off than before.

Leo stole my comment.  Take it easy and do not overdue things.  Go slow so you can go fast later.

My wife had it done a few years ago, and it took a lot of time and hurting before she recovered. Do as the doctor tells you.
